Hi, I’m Brookelyn

I graduated cum laude from California State University, Chico in 2019 with a B.A. in Communication Design, with an option in Graphic Design and minors in Journalism (with a focus on Public Relations) and Gender & Sexuality Studies. That background taught me to care about clear communication as much as good-looking design.

After graduation, I traded textbooks for train tickets and solo-traveled across Europe: 29 cities, 11 countries and countless espressos later, I came home with fresh perspective, a lot of creative inspiration and a mildly useful amount of French.

Design is how I make sense of the world. I especially love data visualization and the challenge of turning raw information into something beautiful, functional and easy to understand. Whether it’s an infographic or a full brand identity, I approach every project with curiosity, strategy and close attention to detail. Great design doesn’t just look good. It solves problems, tells stories and connects people.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably moving: yoga classes, training for my next race or a long walk with a good playlist. I’m also an avid reader with a yearly goal of 100 books, and you’ll often find me at a local coffee shop with a cold brew.
